Falling film evaporator's multi-effect evaporation technology pump selection
In Falling film evaporator cold storage or multi-effect evaporation process, the transportation of raw materials and the circulation system generally must be carried out by pumps. The choice of pumps immediately affects the whole process of raw materials, crystal size distribution, etc.
Generally, if it is a simple liquid raw material transportation, the feed pump generally chooses the form of a centrifugal pump. For those with very high leakage regulations such as harmful, hazardous, flammable, flammable, and explosive, you can choose acid and alkali resistant magnetic pumps.
In the whole process of crystals, the choice of circulating water pump generally chooses the mixed flow pump form. Depending on the installation form, it is divided into a vertical axial flow pump and a horizontal axial flow pump. The mixed flow pump is characterized by large flow, low pump head, and low speed ratio. Low electric power consumption; for high pump lift and small circulation system, mixed flow pump can be selected. Some manufacturers choose the form of centrifugal pump when designing the circulating water pump, which not only destroys the crystal due to high-speed rotation, but also consumes a lot of output power.
Falling film evaporator is a heterogeneous mixture. It is generally recommended to choose a magnetic pump or a pneumatic diaphragm pump. For those where the crystal size distribution is not tight, you can also choose a centrifugal pump, but use a multi-pole motor as much as possible to reduce the impeller. Speed ratio, and the impeller needs to choose an open impeller.
