Disc drier is a kind of high efficiency conductive continuous drying equipment. The heat medium transfers heat to the heated material by means of heat exchange between the partition walls, which greatly reduces the participation of hot air, simplifies the system, and achieves a very high thermal efficiency.
The disc dryer is of multi-layer hollow disc structure. The wet materials are continuously added to the first layer of the drying plate in the dryer. The rake arm with rake leaves makes rotary motion to make the rake leaves continuously turn over the materials. The material flows through the surface of the drying plate along the exponential spiral and drops to the lower plate one by one. The large and small drying trays are arranged alternately up and down so that the material flows continuously through the dryer. The hollow dry disk is fed with a heating medium, such as saturated steam, hot water, heat conducting oil, or high temperature molten salt. The dried material falls to the bottom of the shell from the bottom layer of the drying plate, and is finally transferred to the discharge outlet by the rake leaf. The wet part spills from the material and is discharged by the wet outlet on the top cover. The moisture of the vacuum disc dryer is discharged by the vacuum pump outlet on the top cover. The solvent can be recovered conveniently by adding condenser. Finned heater, bag filter, induced draft fan and other auxiliary machines can improve the production capacity of drying. The disc dryer can also be used for pyrolysis and reaction operations.
